OUR NEW TOWN
My proudest collaboration, I was the assistant director for Our New Town, a show written by Gabriel and Jessie Dean and directed by Theresa McCarthy which explores the reality and aftermath of gun violence and how it impacts the most vulnerable among us- our youth. This original musical was workshopped in the spring of 2019, and received its world premiere staging at Wagner College in the fall of 2019.
ENDLESS LOVE AND BREADSTICKS
The Originals 2019
My directorial debut, Endless Love and Breadsticks was a short original play written by Kayla Fegeley (Wagner College Class of 2022) and presented alongside other featured works in The Originals 2019 at Wagner College. It revolved around a couple whose relationship was devolving in an Olive Garden as they attempted to ignore each other, their instincts, and the distractions within their environment. Within this, I cast it myself, had a several weeklong process in which I organized many rehearsals and took notes in order to improve it, and when scheduling conflicts came calling, I stepped in as one of the roles for two of the performances. It was a particularly rewarding experience.
